Historic Sand Tarts

Ingredients: 1 lb. or 2 cups of Sugar
1 lb. of sifted Daisy Flour
1/2 lb. of Butter or Margarine
2 Eggs (separated)
Vanilla

Directions:
1lb sugar (2c) has to be worked in with hand, 1lb Daisy flour sifted, 1/2 lb butter or margarine, 2 eggs separate, beat whites and work in vanilla

Brush with egg, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and shellbark, 350 degrees 5 1/2 minutes, Chill very cold, a day or so
